The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of Afghanistan beside refuting the unfounded allegations regarding the presence of terrorist groups in Afghanistan termes such claims as the incompetence of the authorities of that country as well as considers the remarks of the Chief of Staff of Pakistan, General Munir “Asim,” insulting against the Afghan people.

Mr. Munir’s prioritization of the safety of a citizen of his vountry over the lives of all Afghans is infact as an affront to the values of a Muslim nation. It is concerning that they cannot ensure the security of their own people while placing blame on others for their own shortcomings.

The people of Pakistan should respond to such biased views expressed by their government officials, as these opinions contribute to the growing animosity between the two neighboring Islamic countries.

The Ministry of National Defense emphasizes that expressing irresponsible opinions not only fails to solve the problem but also harms the positive relations between the two neighboring nations.

The bravery and heroism demonstrated by the defense and security forces in the fight for Afghanistan’s independence are still remembered by the world and the Afghan people.
