Over 7500 Jribs of Poppy cultivation destroyed in Takhar so far

KABUL, May. 29 – Anti-narcotics forces have destroyed over 7,500 jribs of poppy crops in the center and 16 districts of Takhar province.

Similarly, 215 acres have been destroyed in Argo district of Badakhshan province, 17 acres in Kapisa, four acres in Kabul and about one acre in Dila district of Paktia province.

In addition, police have arrested three people in Herat, two in Parwan and two in Kabul and Nimroz provinces in connection with the sale of drugs.

Meanwhile, 2900 kg of Omani plants have been burned in Ghor.
