Over 63 killed and hurt as 10 APCs, tank destroyed in Nimroz

NIMROZ, Jan. 05 – Reports say, a gunfight that erupted early yesterday against enemy troops in Khairabad, Lewa, Mahbas and Razi areas of Khashrod district ended this evening after enemy was force to flee.
Reports add, as many as 10 APC and a hireling tank have been destroyed with 63 puppets including police chief – Sharaf – killed and wounded.
According to details, 6 APCs were destroyed in Khairabad area, 2 APCs and a tank in Mahbas area and 2 more APCs in Lewa area, leaving 43 gunmen killed on the spot while 10 corpses left on the battle ground as well as wounding 20 others including police chief.
It is said that 3 Mujahideen have sustained injuries and 2 others embraced martyrdom during the operation.
