Over 20 police killed as post overrun in Nad Ali

HELMAND, Feb. 20 – Amid ongoing ‘Operation Mansouri’, Mujahideen carried out coordinated attacks on 3 ANP check posts in Kochyano and Maldar areas of Nad Ali district last night, attacks of heavy and light arms resulting in a check post overrun after killing 7 puppets.

In another post, 10 gunmen were killed and 3 more killed in tiered check post as well as a vehicle destroyed.

4 rifles, 1 PKM machine gun, 1 RPG launcher and other military equipment was also confiscated in the operation.
