Over 15 killed as post overrun in Maruf, 2 APCs seized

KANDAHAR, Aug. 16 – Officials say, a hireling check post in Koteki area of Maruf district was overrun after an intense gunfight of multi hours overnight, killing 15 puppets, arresting 2 others and destroying 3 rangers.
According to details, 2 APCs, 1 82-Artillary, 4 PKM machine guns, 10 rifles, 6 rounds of 82-Artillary, 12 rounds of RPG launcher, 3000 other rounds and various other ammunition were taken as war booty by Mujahideen.
2 Mujahideen have also been wounded while another one martyred.
