Mujahideen take control over check post in Shawalikot

KANDAHAR, Jan. 31 – According to reports, Mujahideen carried out an attack on a check post located on the top of a hill in Mano area of Shawalikot district last night.
The post was overrun after an intense gunfight of heavy and light arms, forcing the enemy to flee leaving a corps, 1 RPG launcher with 10 rounds, 8 rifles, 3 binoculars and a number of other war tolls behind on the battle ground.
