Kandahar’s new director for information and culture department appointed

KANDAHAR, Aug. 28 – A joint meeting was held between the staff and the new director of Kandahar’s Information and Culture Department, Hafiz Noor Ahmad Saeed, on Saturday. He expressed the staff to continue work with sincerity, honesty and solve people problems on time and also carry out their duty in an orderly manner.

Mr. Saeed sought the cooperation of the youth of Kandahar and added that the Department of Information and Culture is the best known address for the youth, cultural figures, poets and lovers of literature and from there we will work together and make our homeland for which We are determined to serve.

The meeting also introduced the new director of information, Maulvi Rahmatullah Nariwal, who took over as information director, adding that the first step was to work with the local media to address journalists’ concerns. And conducts meetings with media representatives to ensure quality coverage in the media.

Former Information Director Mohammad Ibrahim Spesali was introduced as the new director of TOLOnews at the meeting.
