Enemy offensive repelled in Khost; numerous killed

KHOST, May 18 – A number of the enemy soldiers were killed and wounded after Mujahideen repelled the enemy ground operation backed by aerial support in Spera district of Khost province.

A Mujahid fighter is said to have been martyred with another two wounded in the operation.

In another report, Mujahideen took by surprise the enemy task-force in Zazi Maidan district of Khost province, triggering an hours-long fighting. It is not clear what the scope of the enemy losses is.

In the province’s Nadir Shah Kot district, 4 enemy soldiers were killed when a bomb blast took place near the enemy foot patrol on Thursday.
