Enemy abducts 11 villagers in Maiwand

KANDAHAR, Feb. 18 – Officials say, heavy clashes broke out against enemy troops in Shalghami and Jogram areas of Maiwand district when they arrived the said area for operation midday on Saturday, forcing the enemy to retreat after taking heavy fatalities.

While escaping, enemy bombarded the area, destroying a number of civilian compounds and also abducted 11 villagers.
