KABUL, Jan. 19 – A meeting under the chairmanship of administrative deputy prime minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafiwas held between the Ministries of Agriculture, Rural Development and reconstruction and the State Urban Sewerage Company on the issues of conflict resolution for developing a strategy to solve the problems of drinking water and the access of people to clean drinking water in Kabul city.

In this meeting, the heads of the Ministries of rural  Construction and Development, Urban Construction and Housing, Economy, Energy and Water, the Deputy Director of Irrigation and Natural Resources of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, the Chairman of the State Water Supply and Urban Wastewater Company. , Deputy Minister of Finance, Head of the National Environment Protection Agency and professional and specialized representatives of the above agencies participated, a comprehensive discussion was held and necessary decisions were taken.

A committee was appointed to comprehensively evaluate all the documents related to the conflict of duties and existing structures in the said ministries and present the results to the next meeting for decision making.
