Check post, 2 centers overrun in Maruf

KANDAHAR, Oct. 24 – Reports arriving from southern Kandahar province state that, Mujahideen launched coordinated attacks on a check post and 2 compounds turned posts in Mero Khel area of Maruf district last night.
Attacks of heavy and light weapons went till morning hours, resulting in both centers and the check post overrun, forcing the enemy to flee after taking heavy fatalities.
A Mujahid fighter is said to have been martyred in the operation (May Allah accept him).
