This assertion has absolutely no basis and we reject it. The three-day ceasefire for Eid is the initiative of the Islamic Emirate announced for its own people so that the nation may spend their Eid celebrations and festivities in a peaceful atmosphere. And a message can be sent to the countrymen standing in the ranks of the enemy that if they were to end aiding the infidel invaders and fighting their Muslim nation, the Islamic Emirate will hold them in their generous, warm embrace. There exists no other reason besides this and is not at the behest of anyone.
