NANGARHAR, Jan. 8 – Al-Emarah News said Sunday the Islamic Emirate Mujahideen repelled the enemy with fatal losses, turning the enemy offensive in rout in Pachir Wa Agam district of eastern Nangarhar province on Saturday.

At least 5 enemy security personnel were killed in the clashes and many more were wounded.

Three armored tanks were destroyed in the clashes after coming under Mujahideen heavy arms fire.

In a report from neighboring province, Laghman, at least 4 enemy soldiers were killed and 3 others were wounded in a deadliest fighting caused by the enemy offensive in the vicinity of the provincial capital of Laghman province on Saturday.

Sadly, a villager was martyred after the enemy pounded a village with mortar rounds.
