10th Anniversary of Demise of the founder of IEA Commemorated

KABUL, May. 11 – The commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the founder of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, late Amir-ul-Momineen Mullah Muhammad Omar Mujahid, has been held today.

Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the administrative deputy PM of the IEA, said the Western invasion of Afghanistan was against all accepted principles and laws of the world, cruel and barbaric.

Hanafi added that during the civil wars in Afghanistan, no one was safe and the country was under the threat of disintegration and fragmentation, so Afghans supported the movement of Mullah Muhammad Umar Mujahid, may Allah the almighty have mercy on him. He led the Islamic Emirate to victory.

Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, the political deputy PM of the IEA, said that Afghanistan’s independence, self-determination and the strengthening of the Sharia system were among the greatest goals and ambitions of Mullah Muhammad Omar Mujahid, may Allah have mercy on him, and the current system has taken practical steps to achieve these goals.

He added that the struggle of late Mullah Muhammad Umar Mujahid against evil and corrupt acts is unforgettable.

Mullah Khairullah Khairkhah, acting minister of the Ministry of Information and Culture, said that Mullah Muhammad Omar Mujahid, may Allah have mercy on him, tried to prevent violence and uphold justice at a time when it seemed impossible to do so in Afghanistan.

He added that Mullah Muhammad Omar Mujahid, may Allah have mercy on him, wanted good bilateral relations from the world, especially with the neighboring countries.

Mowlawi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, Acting Director of the Ministry of National Defense, expressed that a number of spying intelligence circles are trying to create a distance between the government and the nation, but the people are not fooled by their propaganda.

Mujahid added that: (We have made great sacrifices to remain independent and we will not be influenced by anyone in the future).

Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, acting minister of the Ministry of Interior, adressed that the thought and commitment of Mullah Muhammad Umar Mujahid, may Allah have mercy on him, was not individual, but he had a social thought.

Haqqani added that the current system should behave in such a way that every Afghan can see himself in it.

The head of the Ministry of Interior also said that Mullah Muhammad Umar Mujahid, may Allah have mercy on him, was a great blessing and a great capital for Afghanistan and he saved his country from being divided and fragmented in many difficult situations.

Acting Head of the Ministry of Hajj, Sheikh Al-Hadith Noor Muhammad Saqib said that Mullah Muhammad Umar Mujahid alone with a few friends founded the Islamic movement of the Taliban, but with his firm determination, he established the Islamic movement in Afghanistan. The tyranny of Taghar brought victory to the entire Islamic Emirate.

It is worth noting that the founder of the Islamic Emirate, Amirul Momineen, Mullah Muhammad Umar Mujahid, may Allah have mercy on him, died due to an illness on the 4th of August 1392 and was buried in Zabul province.
