Acting Minister of Interior Meets OIC Delegation

KABUL, Nov. 17 – Acting Minister of Interior IEA, HE Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani met with the Deputy of Human & Cultural Affairs of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and Special Representative of the said organization for Afghanistan, Tariq Ali Al-Bakhit and his accompanying delegation, said ministry of interior in a statement.

The delegation also included the Deputy Director of Political Affairs of the said organization, Dr. Yusuf bin Muhammad. HE Khalifa congratulated guests for the opening of the representative office of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Kabul, the statement added.

He called the role of the organization important in the Islamic world and also assured the security of the representative office in Afghanistan Acting Minister of Interior expressed that Afghanistan’s relation with the world is good for the security and peace of Afghanistan as well as for the countries of the region and the world.

Tariq Ali Al-Bakhit expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation of the Ministry of Interior in creating a peaceful environment in the country, improving the security situation and facilitating in opening of the representative office of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Afghanistan.
