HELMAND, Sep. 02 – A grand gathering was held in Babaji area of ​​Lashkar Gah, the capital of Helmand province, on Wednesday in honor of the end of the 20-year Afghan occupation and celebration of independence.

The gathering, which was attended by a large number of religious scholars, military and civilian officials, tribal elders, poets and writers, and ordinary Muslims, began with the recitation of a number of verses from the Holy Quran.

Afterwards, religious scholars and tribal elders, gave detailed speeches on the support of Islamic Emirate, the greatest blessing of freedom, and called on the people to thank Allah Almighty on the occasion of this great blessing (independence).
