PAKTIA, Aug. 10 – Al-Emarah News said over 18 puppets were killed and some 19 others suffered injuries as Mujahideen stormed the enemy installations and checkpoints in Jani Khel district of Paktia province on Wednesday.
It added Mujahideen gained control of district all the checkpoints as well as police headquarters and district administrative building during a daylong operation in the said district, driving the enemy forces back.
Similarly, Mujahideen seized from the enemy 6 Kalashnikov rifles, 2 mortar cannons, 1 DShK, a heavy antitank machinegun and a good deal of various kinds of ammunition along with 5 armored tanks, 1 ranger-like vehicle, 1 bulldozer in Wednesday’s operation.
Two Mujahideen fighters are reported to have embraced martyrdom with three more wounded in yesterday’s operation.
