6 sniped, APC destroyed in Helmand

HELMAND, Mar. 01 – Afternoon hours yesterday, as many as 4 police personnel were shot and killed on the spot by sniper in Mateki area of Nad Ali district.

Meanwhile, an enemy APC was torn apart following a bomb blast in Balari area of the said district on Wednesday, leaving all gunmen killed or hurt abroad.

Later on, 2 more police were killed in a similar attack in Parchaw area of Gerishk district overnight.
