5 killed as key base overrun in Daikundi

DAIKUNDI, May. 26 – Amid ongoing ‘Al Khandaq Operations’, Mujahideen attacked strategic enemy check post in Speni Ghondi area of Ajristan district last night, overrunning the after killing 2 puppets and forcing the rest to flee who came under a Mujahideen ambush leaving a further 3 killed.
2 rifles, 1 PKM machine gun, 1 binocular, 1 communication radio and other ammunition were seized as spoils.
