5 including commander killed, 4 hurt as post overrun in Badghis

BADGHIS, May. 03 – Reports say, Amid ongoing ‘Operation Mansouri’, Mujahideen attacked enemy security check point in Khoshno area of Dara Bom district overnight.
Attacks of heavy and light arms lasted for about 2 hours, overrunning the check post, killing 5 including a hireling commander – Ahmad – and leaving 4 others wounded while forcing the rest to flee leaving 2 corpses behind on the batlle ground.
2 Motorbikes, 3 rifles and various types of ammunition were recovered from the post.
