3 killed, post leveled in Baghlan; Kunduz-Baghlan road closed off

BAGHLAN, Aug. 17 – At least puppets were killed during the clashes triggered by the enemy attempt to break Mujahideen siege of a military base and 2 combat post in Baghlan-i-Markazi district of Baghlan around predawn today. An armored tank was destroyed in the fighting.

Similarly, the road between Baghlan-e-Markazi district and Kunduz province remained closed off in three different points as a result of Mujahideen operation.

Separately, an enemy post was overrun by Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate in the said district today, exacting fatal losses on the enemy.
