3 killed as post overrun in Kandahar, equipment seized

KANDAHAR, Dec. 08 – Reports say, Mujahideen carried out an attack on a local militia check post in Sanzari Dasht area of Zarhi district overnight.
Attacks of heavy and light arms forced the enemy to flee, leaving 3 corpses behind on the battle ground.
According to details, a ranger pickup, 2 motorbikes, 1 heavy machine gun, 1 RPG launcher, 3 rifles and other equipment was confiscated in the operation.
Enemy reinforcement troops arriving the scene were also engaged by Mujahideen, resulting in heavy casualties that are unknown at the moment, while 2 Mujahideen are said to have been martyred and 2 others wounded (May Allah almighty accept them).
