2 gunmen arrested as 3 offensives repelled in Garmsir

HELMAND, Aug. 07 – At around 8:00 am today enemy troops carried out 3 offensives against Mujahideen positions in Lakie area of Garmsir district to transfer their corpses left in 2 check posts that were overrun by Mujahideen last night, faced tough resistance of Mujahideen and fled after suffering heavy casualties.
Later on Mujahideen arrested 2 puppets along with their rifles while hiding in corn fields in the area.
