19 killed and wounded, 5 APCs seized as base overrun in Nawa

HELMAND, Oct. 05 – Reports say the last enemy military – Khad center – base was overrun overnight amid ongoing ‘Operation Omari’ after tight besiege and continuous attacks of Mujahideen, killing 19 puppets and forcing the rest to flee while leaving corpses on the battle ground.
As many as 7 gunmen surrender with their arms before Islamic Emirate Muajhideen.
5 APCs, 2 ranger pickups, 8 American PKM machine guns, 18 rifles, 4 AKs, 2 medium range mortar tubes, 2 Dshk, 4 motorbikes, 50 boxes of rifle rounds, 100 boxes of PKM machine gun rounds, 50 Dshk rounds, 70 82 – artillery rounds and other war equipment was confiscated.
Similarly, 6 APCs and 7 ranger pickups were seized from an overrun check post in Khan-e-Sheen district overnight.
According to details, last night 5 more APCs were destroyed by IED attacks of fleeing enemy troops on Lashkargah road in between Do rahi and Bolan square, inflecting serious casualties on enemy.
