17 puppets killed, many injured in Takhar operations 

TAKHAR, Feb. 8 – Late Wednesday Mujahideen of fighters ambushed the enemy in Darqad district of Takhar province, killing 5 joint enemy military personnel.

In another report from Takhar province, fighting raged late yesterday night following the operation against Mujahideen in Qala-e-Yangi district of Takhar province, continuing into the morning hours of Thursday in which 12 joint enemy personnel were killed and many more were wounded. Two of the enemy’s military tanks were also destroyed in the fighting.

Early Thursday, a puppet was killed with another one wounded in sniper attack in Shalgar district of Ghazni province.
