12 including commander slain as post overrun in Farah

FARAH, Dec. 30 – According to a recent report from Pushtrod district of Farah province, Mujahideen carried out an attack on a hireling check post in Masod Dorahi area overnight, amid ongoing ‘Omari’ annual campaign.
Attack of heavy and light arms continued for about 2 hours, meanwhile ANP reinforcement arriving the scene intensified the gunfight further, resulting in the post was overrun after killing 12 puppets including commander Abdullah and an APC also destroyed.
A PKM machine gun, 8 rifles, 6 boxes of heavy machine gun and numerous amounts of rounds were seized.
A Mujahid was also wounded in the operating.
