11 killed and wounded as tank destroyed in Farah

FARAH, Nov. 19 – Mujahideen carried out an assault on a police check point in Pambo area of Farahrod district overnight.
Later on enemy reinforcement arriving the scene came under a Mujahideen ambush, sparking heavy clashes that lasted for about an hour during which 5 policemen were killed on the spot with 6 others deadly wounded.
A PKM machine gun with 1000 rounds, 10 RPG rounds and other equipment were seized.
A Mujahid was also injured in the crossfire.
