10 killed, equipment seized as check posts overrun in Shinkot

GHOR, Aug. 08 – Reports from Shinkot district states that amid ongoing ‘Operation Omari’, an enemy check post close to the said district administration center overrun as a result of Mujahideen attack overnight, causing serious casualties and forcing the enemy to leave behind 10 corpses on the battle ground.
2 PKMs, 2 AKs and other war toll have been seized in the operation.
It is to mention that key enemy bases around district HQ are under tight besiege and attacks for the last 4 days.
