    • 1 killed, 2 hurt in Laghman 

    LAGHMAN, Aug. 18 – Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate killed an officer and left two puppets injured during fighting broke out in Alishang district of eastern Laghman province late Friday night following the offensive of the reinforcements called to back the enemy under Mujahideen attacks. Two tanks were also destroyed in yesterday nights attack.
