Al Emarah Studio, part of Multimedia Branch of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s Cultural Commission, presents a new video report entitled ‘Recent Advances in Ghazni’s Shilgar’.
The report as suggested by the title is about the recent advances of Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate who briefly captured the district headquarters and all surrounding buildings during an armed attack initiated with a car bomb by a martyrdom seeker on 27th of Muharram 1439 Hijri Lunar.
The attack and subsequent clashes with the enemy reinforcements lasted for about 4 hours during which 12 APCs, 10 pickup trucks and other military hardware was destroyed as well as 31 gunmen killed and 21 others including the puppet district police chief – Nazir Ghurzang – injured.
