According to the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, there has been a notable rise in Afghanistan’s exports to foreign countries following the establishment of the Islamic Emirate and the removal of high tariffs on exports.

Yunus Momand, the deputy director of the chamber, reported a 53 percent increase in Afghanistan’s exports to Turkey in recent times, along with significant growth in exports to Iran and Pakistan.

Mr. Momand attributed this surge in exports to the Islamic Emirate’s decision to waive high tariffs, which has facilitated trade and boosted export activities. He further highlighted that Afghanistan has achieved self-sufficiency in several sectors, and the country’s production capacity is growing stronger day by day.
