During the opening session of the Industry Week exhibition, Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Administrative deputy PM, expressed his belief that Afghanistan has the potential to emerge as a significant industrial center within the region. He highlighted the country’s abundant and valuable natural resources, which provide a strong foundation for industrial production.

Mr. Hanafi further emphasized that the growth of the industrial sector not only fosters its own development but also positively impacts other economic sectors. He underlined the full support of the Islamic Emirate for industry and domestic production, emphasizing their commitment to promoting and bolstering these sectors.

During the opening ceremony of the national and international exhibition held in celebration of Industry Week, Minister of Industry and Trade, Nooruddin Azizi, unveiled the Islamic Emirate’s strategic plans aimed at fostering industrial growth and supporting the private sector. These initiatives, he emphasized, will play a crucial role in making Afghanistan self-sufficient.

Mr. Azizi further highlighted the positive trajectory of Afghanistan’s industry, emphasizing that it is currently making significant progress. He also proudly stated that the country’s exports are of exceptional quality, further highlighting the potential for economic success in the international market.
