Statement by Commission for the Control and Regulation of NGOs and Companies regarding prohibition on use of Salam SIM cards

As our compatriots are already aware, Salam Telecommunication Company failed to comply with the rules set by Islamic Emirate’s Commission for the Control and Regulation of NGOs and Companies despite repeated warnings and thus, the offices and cell towers of the aforementioned company were declared military targets for the Mujahideen and all their personnel, assets and equipment were treated as the personnel and equipment of a spy agency.

Hence with the aim of limiting the operation of said telecommunication company, all fellow citizens are being notified to strictly refrain from the use of Salam SIM cards and all will be dealt with in accordance with the law if found with the said SIM card.
