The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan welcomes such meetings aimed at building better coordination for security of the region and also appreciates the communique of this meeting expressing support for a stable, peaceful, integrated and secure Afghanistan, and respect for sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity and the principle of non-interference in Afghanistan ‘s internal affairs.

The Islamic Emirate remains committed and will not allow anyone to pose a threat
to the region and the world from Afghanistan ‘s soil or to interfere in other ‘s internal affairs.

IEA welcomes the proposal to include Chabahar Port in the North-South
International Transport Corridor. We stand ready to provide all necessary protection and facilities in this regard.

In the current situation, we consider concerns expressed in the communique regarding providing shelter, training, planning and financial support to disruptive elements in Afghanistan as misplaced.

We hope that Afghanistan will also be invited to participate in the second meeting of the National Security Advisers/Secretaries of the Security Council of India and Central Asia to be held in May 2023 in Kazakhstan, where the presence of IEA representatives would help establish cooperation and confidence in security, prevention of human and drug trafficking, delivery of humanitarian aid to the
people of Afghanistan, and particularly in the implementation of basic infrastructure projects.
