KANDAHAR, Oct. 16 – Officials say, enemy has fled and abandoned Maruf district administration center due to fear of Mujahideen attacks. According to details, enemy has sat light to all equipment and installations before fleeing off while leaving a Dshk gun, 6 PKM machine guns, 3 RPG launchers, 13 AK rifles, 1 binocular, 2 mortar tubes and 2 motorbikes behind. It must be mentioned that, as many as 12 puppets were killed with 16 others including a hireling commander were arrested when Mujahideen took control over 2 check posts close to the said district center on Sunday night.
