KABUL, June. 30 – Amid ongoing spring offensive ‘Operation Omari’, a convoy of police academy trainers came under a martyrdom attack in the surroundings of company area of the capital Kabul city at noon today. When further police personnel arrived a second martyrdom seeker hit them with a car bomb, leaving dozens of officers, trainers and police killed or hurt.
According to details the initial attack was carried out by a martyrdom seeker of Islamic Emirate – Shamsul Haq Herati – in which at least 28 police officers and trainers were killed, several others severely wounded and 2 buses destroyed.
When the police gathered at the site to collect the dead and wounded another martyrdom seeker – Muhibullah – resident of Sangin district of Helmand province exploded his car, killing and wounding dozens of more gunmen and destroyin 8 more buses

Officials reporting from the area as well as sources inside the enemy ranks say that the powerful attack has left at least 150 police officers, trainers and recruits killed and dozens of others wounded.
