Kunar Governor meets Department of Health’s representatives

KUNAR, Sep. 2 – Haji Muhammad Othman Turabi, the Governor of Kunar met the representatives of Department of Health and collaborative organizations to improve public health and health services

Qari Muzaffar, the Director of Health visited the representatives of the Health Net, Organization for Research & Community Development (ORCD), the World Health Organization (WHO), Red Crescent, (UNICEF), Medicaid Managed Care (MMC), (ADA), and DEO and shared information on the state of health services at the central and district levels, the lack of World Bank assistance and re-recruitment, the commitment of health workers, and several other issues.

They thanked the Governor of Kunar and the officials of the Health Department for providing better service to the health workers in a well-coordinated and safe environment.
