Under the guidance of the Ministry of National Defense, urgent relief aid is being dispatched to assist the flood victims in Baghlan province.

 

With the aim of providing immediate assistance and resolving the challenges caused by the floods, particularly in the northeastern region of the country, which have resulted in numerous casualties and injuries, the Ministry of National Defense has instructed all officers of the 217th Life Corps of the National Islamic Army, the Engineer Brigade, and the Air Force to extend every possible support to those affected by this tragic event.

 

Furthermore, as weather conditions improve, the country’s air forces have commenced clearance operations in the affected areas today. Over 100 injured individuals have already been transported to the 217th Army Corps Hospital.

 

In addition, the Ministry of National Defense has declared a state of emergency and initiated the distribution of essential food items, spices, and basic aid to deserving individuals. The dedicated members of the National Islamic Army spare no effort in serving their people and the nation.

 

The leadership of the Ministry of National Defense extends its heartfelt condolences to the martyrs of this tragic incident, praying for their souls to find eternal peace and a place in the beautiful Paradise of Firdous. They also wish patience and abundant rewards for the families affected by this calamity.
