KABUL, Apr. 19 – Foreign Ministry of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan strongly denied media reports that rockets were fired from Afghan territory into the neighboring town of Tirmidhi, said Abdul Qahar Balkhi the spokesman of Foreign ministry.

The situation on the Afghanistan-Uzbekistan border is normal and there is nothing to worry about, he added.

Islamic Emirate reiterates its commitment, as a responsible government, to all its neighbors that our border security forces monitor Afghanistan’s borders with all seriousness and do not allow anyone to disrupt security.
