KABUL, Sep. 11 – Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) has announced to auction $12 million on Monday in a bit to keep the balance of afghanis against foreign currency in the country.
Da Afghanistan Bank in a newsletter informed all money changers and commercial banks to participate in these tenders on Monday under the same conditions and obliged the winners of the tenders to settle their accounts by the end of the day.
Partial transactions are no allowed and the winner of the auction should deposit all the money owed at once in cash or by reference in the bank within a certain time added the statement.
Meanwhile, the country’s biggest money market Sarahi Shahzada announced the exchange rate of 1 USD to 88.28 Afghanis in market Saturday.
