KANDAHAR, Aug. 27 – Accordimg to a statement of ministry of buplic works the repair and reconstruction work of the Kandahar-Uruzgan highway is underway round the clock.

Details say the highway is 110 kilometers long and 7 meters wide, starting from Arghandab district of Kandahar, passing through Nish and Khakriz districts and connecting to Tarinkot-Dehrawad district road, which is divided into four parts and is currently divided into three parts.

During the work of this project, a number of residents of the area have been provided with work and after the completion of the project, the transportation problems of the residents of Uruzgan province will be solved.
