KAPISA, Sep. 06 – Construction works of water resource projects in Kapisa province, worth $270,950 USD, have commenced in the presence of Deputy Governor of Kapisa province, Honorable Shaikh Asadullah Sanan, Head of Kapisa Sub-River Basin Engineer Kavah Kharosh, and several other local officials, said a statement of the ministry of water and energy.

These projects contains the construction of gabion walls and the reinforcement of river banks in Alah Sai and Tagab districts of Kapisa province. Upon completion, they will protect agricultural lands and residential houses from flood threats and play a crucial role in water resource management. The Kapisa Sub-River Basin is supervising these projects, which are being carried out by the Kapisa Kuhna Building Company with financial support from the FAO organization.
