KABUL, Dec. 24-As many as 136211 tons of goods have been transported through railway lines in the last week, said Afghanistan Railway Authority (ARA) .
According to a statement 105615 tons of goods were transported through the Haritaran port, 4670 tons through the Aqhina port, and 25926 tons through Torghandi port.
The transport included 3116 tons of goods mostly dry fruit exported to neighboring countries.
ARA is striving to provide better facilities for the transportation of goods and has been able to collect over 1.4 billion AFN of revenue during first six months of the current solar year.
