ARCS donates 4,500,000 AFN cash assistance to earthquake-hit Turkey

KABUL, Feb. 13 – Based on Islamic brotherhood, humanity, sympathy and friendship Mr. Mawlavi Mati-Ul-Haq “Khalis” Acting General President of Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) has donated four and half million (450,000) AFN as a cash assistance to the earthquake-hit people of Turkish country, which were handed over to Mr. Cihad Erginay, Turkish ambassador in Kabul, in the presence of a delegation; So that the assistance could reached to the earthquake-hit affected of Turkish country via the embassy.

While handing over of aid, Mr. “Khalis” Acting General President of ARCS assured Mr. Cihad Erginay, Turkish Ambassador, for further assistance and any kind of cooperation.

He said that ARCS stands shoulder by shoulder with the people of Turkish country and expresses his sincere condolences to the people of Turkish country in this great grief.
He stated “Turkish country is a sympathetic and friendly country of Afghanistan which always helped & sympathised with Afghans during hardships.”

The management of ARCS offered their sincere condolences to Mr. Cihad Erginay, Turkish ambassador & to Mr. Farid Zia, head of TRC in Afghanistan regarding the victims & wounded people of the earthquake.

Mr. Cihad Erginay, Turkish ambassador in Kabul, expressed his sincere gratitude to Mr. Mawlavi Mati-Ul-Haq “Khalsi” Acting General President of ARCS and promised to deliver the aid safely & transparently to the earthquake-hit families.

Likewise, statement of condolence was written by Acting General President of ARCS in the condolence book regarding earthquake disaster in Turkish country.
