KANDAHAR, Dec. 27 – On Monday, the World Food Program (WFP) in collaboration with the Kandahar Economy Department provided food aid to 875 poor families in Kandahar’s Shorabak district.

The donations included flour, oil, pulses and materials. The donors expressed their gratitude to the heads of these needy families, saying that the agencies and partner organizations are paying special attention to the residents of the districts besides the city.

The World Food Program (WFP) says it will continue to distribute food aid in its districts, adding that it will continue to provide similar food items to dozens of families in the desert district.
