27 killed as base overrun in Farah Rod, 4 APCs and truck destroyed

FARAH, May. 11 – According to latest reports from Farah Rod district, Mujahideen attacked a large scale military base along Herat-Kandahar road in Dorahi area overnight.

Attacks of heavy and light arms, resulting in the base was overrun after killing 27 puppets and leaving several other wounded.

Details say, as many as 4 enemy APCs, 1 kamaz truck and arms depot have been completely destroyed.

As many as 4 APCs, 1 truck, 2 PKM machine guns, 2 RPG launchers, 12 rifles and other war equipment have been confiscated by Mujahideen.

2 Mujahideen are said to have sustained injuries while another one has embraced martyrdom.
