10 killed, 17 injured in Paktia battle 

PAKTIA, Sep. 28 – Al-Emarah News said as many as 27 enemy soldiers sustained casualties in a violent fighting in southeastern province of Paktia.

The fighting erupted late yesterday night when the enemy attempted to conduct a ground operation supported by aerial attacks against Mujahideen in Jani Khel district of this province, Al-Emarah reporter said.

He added at 10 enemy soldiers last their lives and an additional 17 suffered wounds, while 2 Mujahideen fighters embraced martyrdom.

Early Wednesday, a policeman surrendered to Mujahideen in the mentioned district of Paktia province.

On Thursday, a policeman was sniped and killed in Zurmat district of this province.
