HELMAND, Sep. 07 – Reports arriving from southern Helmand province state that enemy convoy arriving Zamboli area of Gerishk district for operations came under Mujahideen ambushes early yesterday.
Details say heavy gunfight lasted till late after noon hours resulting in 3 APCs were destroyed by RPG fire and another one by IED blast, killing 7 minions and leaving 5 others wounded before forcing the rest to flee.
2 Mujahideen were wounded and 2 others have embraced martyrdom during the crossfire.
