KANDAHAR, Jun. 22 – Mujahideen carried out an attack on a police check post along the Tarinkot road in Sar Khobaib area of Shawalikot district overnight. The post was overrun after a brief resistance after killing 4 ANP gunmen and arresting 4 others while forcing the rest to flee. A ranger pickup, 1 heavy machine gun with 700 rounds, 1 RPG launcher with 3 rounds, 3 rifles with 1200 rounds and other war tools were recovered from the post.
