HELMAND, Jul. 29 – Amid ongoing ‘Operation Masnouri’, Mujahieen attacked a key enemy military base and 2 posts in Talib Dorahi area of Nawa district last mid night. Attacks of heavy and light arms lasted till 2:00 am local time, resulting in the base and 2 posts overrun, killing 25 puppets and leaving several other wounded while forcing the rest to flee leaving 15 corpses behind as well as destroying 3 APCs and 2 vehicles. 4 RPG launchers, 4 rifles, 1 PKM machine gun, 1 Dshk, 1 sniper gun, 1 mortar tub, 3 binoculars, 6 communication radios and a number of ammo with other military tolls were sized as war spoils. Currently, road connecting district center and Jarnamo area has been blocked off by Mujahideen.
